Celebrating 50 Years of Seychellois Independence
For fifty years, our Seychelles has celebrated its independence, culture and national identity.
Here in Western Australia, the Seychellois community continues that tradition by bringing families, friends and future generations together to honour our heritage and maintain a strong connection to our roots.
We have 2 important events coming up in June & July 2026 to showcase our music, food, dance, stories and traditions that have shaped Seychelles and us, its people.
These celebrations provide an opportunity to reflect on our shared journey, recognise the contributions of Seychellois Australians, and ensure that the culture, values and spirit of Seychelles continue to thrive within our community for generations to come.
Our People, Our Identity, Our Destiny.
